Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and your readings are at least 135/85 mmHg.
  • You are under a doctor's care for your blood pressure.
  • You are willing to start an exercise program.
  • You have not done any regular exercise in the past 4 weeks.
  • Your blood pressure is not very high (under 180/110 mmHg).
  • You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or other major heart-related problem in the last 6 months.
