Who can take part
- You must have advanced non-small cell lung cancer or another solid tumor that has spread
- You must be able to do daily activities with little or no help (ECOG 0 or 1)
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans
- You must have a stored tumor sample (from a biopsy or surgery) that can be sent for testing
- You must be 18 to 75 years old (or 18+ for the second part of the study)
- You must not have had certain cancer treatments within the last 4 weeks, or have active infections, or unstable brain metastases
