  • Your kidney function (eGFR) is less than 29 ml/min/1.75m2
  • You do not have liver disease
  • You are not planning to start dialysis or get a kidney transplant in the next 4 months
  • You do not have an active infection, vasculitis, type 1 diabetes, or active cancer
  • You are not currently taking steroid medication
  • You can walk without help (not using a wheelchair or on bed rest)
