Exercise study in people with kidney disease

Who can take part

  • Have CKD stage 3 or 4 (kidney function in a specific moderate range, not very severe)
  • Your kidney function should be stable (eGFR hasn’t dropped by more than 30% in the last 3 months)
  • You currently exercise less than 20 minutes, twice per week
  • You must be able and willing to follow the study plan, including riding a stationary bike
  • Avoid pregnancy, and be able to participate safely (no very low or very high blood pressure, and no certain heart problems)
