Sarcopenia strength trial for kidney disease patients

Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 75 years old.
  • Your kidney function is very low (eGFR of 15 or less) and you are not on dialysis yet.
  • Your hand grip strength is less than 26 kg (men) or less than 16 kg (women).
  • You are not expected to need dialysis or a kidney transplant in the next 4 months.
  • You are willing to follow diet and exercise advice and take the study supplement.
