Who can take part

  • You are preparing for lung cancer surgery (open or keyhole) or major abdominal cancer surgery (like stomach, liver, bile duct, colon, or rectal surgery, open or keyhole).
  • You give your informed consent to take part.
  • Your main surgeon approves your participation.
  • You are comfortable speaking and understanding English for tests, video sessions, and follow-up.
  • You do not have another cancer being actively treated now or treated in the last year.
  • Your surgery is scheduled at least 7 days after you agree to join.
