Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have been diagnosed with cirrhosis caused by NASH/MASH, and your liver is still working well (compensated cirrhosis).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 27 or higher, or 25 or higher if you are Asian.
- You have not had any serious liver complications, such as internal bleeding from veins in the esophagus, fluid buildup in the belly, or confusion from liver disease.
- You do not drink more than a moderate amount of alcohol (less than 2 drinks per day for men, 1 drink per day for women).
