Who can take part

  • You must have a type of cancer that has not gotten better with standard treatments, or no standard treatment is available.
  • You need to be in fairly good physical condition (able to do daily activities without help) with healthy kidney and bone marrow function.
  • For the liver cancer part, your liver function must be Child-Pugh A or B.
  • For the pediatric part, you must be between 2 and 20 years old and have a childhood cancer that has not responded to standard therapy.
  • You cannot have had major surgery, radiation, or other cancer treatment in the last 2 to 4 weeks.
  • You must not have serious heart problems or other uncontrolled medical conditions.
