Who can take part
- You must have a type of cancer that has not gotten better with standard treatments, or no standard treatment is available.
- You need to be in fairly good physical condition (able to do daily activities without help) with healthy kidney and bone marrow function.
- For the liver cancer part, your liver function must be Child-Pugh A or B.
- For the pediatric part, you must be between 2 and 20 years old and have a childhood cancer that has not responded to standard therapy.
- You cannot have had major surgery, radiation, or other cancer treatment in the last 2 to 4 weeks.
- You must not have serious heart problems or other uncontrolled medical conditions.
