Who can take part

  • You can understand and speak English.
  • You answered 'No' to all questions on the CSEP Get Active questionnaire (a brief health check).
  • You do not currently smoke or use nicotine products.
  • You do not have major uncontrolled heart, muscle, metabolic, or nerve conditions.
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, nor have you had cancer in the past year.
  • You are not taking medications that affect muscle metabolism (like Metformin, Benzodiazepines, or hormone replacement therapy).
