COPD: Breathing Muscle Strength and Flexibility Study

This study looks at the strength and flexibility of muscles you use to breathe, including muscles in your chest and neck. If you have moderate-to-severe COPD and have been stable on your medications, it may help researchers understand how these muscles are affected.

NCT05896579Recruiting
Study heart function during rest and exercise in COPD

This study measures how well the right side of your heart works when you are resting and when you exercise, in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It may help researchers better understand COPD-related heart strain and guide future care.

Studying muscle oxygen during exercise in COPD patients

This study looks at how muscle oxygen levels and physical function change during exercise tests in people with COPD. It aims to better understand the body's response to activity and may help improve future care.

COPD Oxygen Study: Sleep and Exercise

This study looks at how brief drops in oxygen levels during sleep affect lung function, health, and survival in people with moderate COPD. Participants will do exercise tests and have their oxygen levels monitored to better understand the disease.

Testing muscle fatigue during exercise in COPD and heart failure

This study looks at how tired your muscles get during a controlled cycling exercise test in people who have COPD, and—if applicable—heart failure at the same time. It may help researchers understand exercise limits and how to better support you with these conditions.
