Who can take part
- You are 18 to 75 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 22 and 45.
- You have been taking one of these statins for at least 8 weeks: atorvastatin (10-20mg), rosuvastatin (5-10mg), fluvastatin 80mg, lovastatin 40mg, pitavastatin (1-4mg), pravastatin 40mg, or simvastatin (20-40mg).
- Your LDL (bad) cholesterol is still too high despite taking the statin.
- You are not pregnant, not planning to become pregnant, and have no history of certain serious health conditions like cancer, liver disease, or muscle damage.
