Who can take part
- You have a type of heart disease, such as Kawasaki disease, an abnormal origin of a coronary artery, or a heart defect that was repaired with surgery.
- You are able to lie still inside an MRI machine and do not have claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces).
- You do not have severe problems with your heart, kidneys, or other major organs that would make the MRI unsafe.
- You are not allergic to the contrast dye (gadolinium) used during the MRI.
- You do not have any metal implants or devices that are not compatible with MRI.
