Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that has not spread to distant organs.
  • Your tumor must be measurable on a CT or MRI scan (at least 1 cm in size).
  • You must not have received radiation to the chest or immunotherapy before.
  • Your blood counts, liver, kidney, heart, and lung function must be within certain limits.
  • You must be willing to stop other cancer treatments for at least 4 weeks before starting the study.
