Who can take part
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You have one of these blood disorders: polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), or primary myelofibrosis (PMF).
- You do not have a heart condition affecting the left side of the heart or a congenital heart defect.
- You do not have chronic lung disease, primary pulmonary hypertension, or chronic kidney disease.
- You do not have chronic hemolytic anemia (like sickle cell or thalassemia), connective tissue disease, or past/current blood clots in the lungs.
