Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with a sudden blood clot in your lungs (acute pulmonary embolism).
- Your age should be between 18 and 80 years old.
- Your clot must have been considered severe or high-risk (PESI class III, IV, or V, or sPESI score of 1 or higher).
- You cannot have severe kidney disease (eGFR less than 30).
- You cannot have serious liver problems.
