Who can take part

  • You have had at least 2 heavy drinking days (more than 4 drinks for men, 3 for women) or more than 13 drinks in the last 2 weeks.
  • You have tested positive for a marker of heavy drinking called PEth (a blood test).
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder (AUD).
  • You can attend all study visits and speak English fluently.
  • You do not have any metal in your body that would make an MRI unsafe, and have no history of seizures or major head injury.
