Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 86 years old.
  • You have a diagnosis of moderate to severe alcohol use disorder.
  • You have had at least 24 days of heavy drinking in the past 90 days.
  • You want to reduce or stop heavy drinking.
  • You are not currently taking certain medications for alcohol, like naltrexone or disulfiram, unless it's been over a month since you started.
  • You have no metal implants in your head, no seizure history (except from alcohol withdrawal), and no heart pacemaker.
