Who can take part

  • You started methadone or buprenorphine treatment within the last year.
  • You are eligible for an MRI scan (no metal implants, pacemakers, or similar).
  • You can commit to attending study visits.
  • You do not have severe mental health issues like psychosis, mania, or active suicidal thoughts.
  • You do not have a history of intellectual disability, developmental disorder, or neurological disease, or a head injury with loss of consciousness over 30 minutes.
  • You do not have unstable medical conditions that could interfere with participation.
