Nerve blocks for pain after chest wall surgery

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 35
  • You are in good general health (ASA class I or II)
  • You do not have an infection where the block needle would go
  • You are not pregnant, allergic to the study drugs, or on blood thinners
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney disease, chronic pain, or a bleeding disorder
