Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You are scheduled for video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS).
- Your health is stable enough for surgery (ASA class I–III).
- You are not allergic to numbing medicines (local anesthetics).
- You do not have a bleeding disorder and are not on blood thinners.
- You have not used strong painkillers (opioids) long-term.
- You do not have chest wall problems or a nerve condition affecting how you feel pain.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
