Sana Device for chronic pain from Lyme disease

This study tests the Sana device—a special light and sound tool—to see if it can help reduce chronic nerve pain in people with Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome. You may be able to join if you have ongoing nerve pain after Lyme treatment and meet a few basic health and medication rules.

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and speak English fluently.
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic nerve pain (neuropathic pain) that is linked to Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS).
  • You must have had Lyme disease confirmed by a doctor or a lab test, with certain symptoms like a bullseye rash, facial palsy, or joint swelling.
  • You have not had changes to your pain medications for at least 4 weeks before the study starts.
  • You do not have epilepsy that is triggered by light, or severe vision or hearing problems.
