Who can take part

  • You have heart failure and either already have an ICD (a small device implanted in your chest to monitor your heartbeat) or are waiting to get one.
  • You do not have any memory or thinking problems that would make it hard to learn from educational materials.
  • If you are a caregiver, you see or talk to the patient at least 5 times each week.
  • If you are a caregiver, you feel physically and mentally able to take part.
  • If you are a healthcare professional, you take care of patients with heart failure and an ICD every day.
