Who can take part

  • You or the person having symptoms must be suspected of having a stroke by a paramedic or emergency dispatcher.
  • The trial team must be able to use the app or telephone without technical problems.
  • You cannot be in prison or jail.
  • You cannot have already been seen by a doctor before the paramedics start their assessment.
  • The suspected stroke cannot be caused by bleeding on the surface of the brain (called a subarachnoid hemorrhage).
