Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with cancer less than 2 years ago
  • Between 18 and 65 years old (with plans to follow you for about a year)
  • Have a paid job with an employer
  • Currently on full or partial sick leave (for less than 2 years)
  • Able to read and understand Dutch (for questionnaires)
  • Have told your employer about your cancer diagnosis, or plan to tell them
  • Not already applied or planning to apply for a long-term disability benefit (WIA)
  • Your employer also agrees to take part in the study
