Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus (a common type of esophageal cancer).
  • Your cancer is at a specific stage: either hasn't spread to far organs, or has only spread to lymph nodes in the neck.
  • You are in generally good health, able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1), and have adequate organ function.
  • You have not had more than 3 cycles of immunotherapy or chemotherapy before this trial.
