Who can take part

  • You have advanced or metastatic breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You are postmenopausal or have had your ovaries stop working.
  • You have tried hormone therapy or chemotherapy before, and your cancer got worse.
  • You have at least one tumor outside the brain that can be measured on scans.
  • You are healthy enough to be active and care for yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).
