Who can take part

  • You must have completed the PINNACLE study (a previous AMD study) and had your final visit within the last 12 months.
  • You must have intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in both eyes, or intermediate AMD in one eye and advanced AMD (wet or dry) in the other.
  • Your eyes must be clear enough for detailed scans and vision tests.
  • You must be able to attend appointments every 4 months for up to 2 years.
  • You cannot have other eye diseases that affect your vision, high myopia (more than -6 diopters), or have recently taken medications known to harm the retina.
