Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- The thick part of your heart muscle (the septum) is 15 mm or more.
- You have a high pressure in your heart's main chamber (LVOT gradient) of 50 mmHg or more, either at rest or when you strain or exercise.
- Your symptoms (like shortness of breath, chest pain, or fainting) are bad enough to limit your daily activities (NYHA class II or higher).
- You are still having severe symptoms even though you are taking the best medicines for your condition.
