HCMR Re-Imaging: MRI follow-up for HCM patients

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)

Who can take part

  • You must have been part of the original HCMR study.
  • You need to be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • If you have obstructive HCM, your body mass index (BMI) must be under 35.
  • If you have non-obstructive HCM, your BMI must be under 40 and your LVEF (a measure of heart pumping strength) must be 55% or higher.
  • You cannot have a pacemaker that you rely on completely (because you can't have an MRI).
  • You must not have had uncontrolled atrial fibrillation in the last 6 months or be pregnant.
