Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) by a doctor.
  • Heart imaging (echo or MRI) shows a wall thickness of 15 mm or more (or 13 mm or more if you have a gene mutation or family history of HCM).
  • Your doctor has ruled out other causes of heart thickening, like high blood pressure, valve problems, or storage diseases.
  • You are expected to live at least 1 year and have no other life-threatening conditions like severe infections, liver failure, or kidney failure.
