Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (not another form of parkinsonism).
  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must have had DBS surgery targeting the subthalamic nucleus (STN) in both sides of the brain.
  • Your electrode placement must be considered accurate on brain scans.
  • You must be able and willing to sign a consent form and attend follow-up visits.
