Who can take part
- Healthy volunteers: you must be generally healthy and not hospitalized in the last 2 years.
- Sepsis group: you must have a confirmed infection and a qSOFA score of 2 or higher plus a SOFA score of 2 or higher.
- Non-septic severe group: you must have a suspected or confirmed infection and a SOFA score of 1.
- You must be an adult (not a minor), not pregnant, and without a mental illness.
- Your doctor will confirm if you meet the criteria for the group you are in.
