Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You have persistent atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat that lasts more than a week) that has not improved with medication.
- Your atrial fibrillation is not caused by a heart valve problem.
- You have had at least one ECG (heart tracing) showing atrial fibrillation in the last year.
- You are able to attend follow-up visits and sign a consent form.
