  • You have type 2 diabetes and see your doctor every 3 months.
  • You are between 35 and 65 years old.
  • You do not already see a liver specialist for liver disease.
  • You do not have active cancer.
  • You do not have a blood disorder that causes low platelets.
  • You are not pregnant.
