Who can take part

  • You must be dependent on nicotine as measured by a screening test.
  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have not had substance abuse treatment in the last 30 days.
  • You are in good mental and physical health overall.
  • If you are female, you must not be pregnant.
  • You can have an MRI scan (no metal implants, not claustrophobic) and have no history of seizures, brain injury, or certain brain disorders.
