This trial tests a combination of a PD-1 inhibitor (which helps your immune system fight cancer) and a probiotic called Clostridium butyricum for people with bladder cancer. It is for those who either have invasive bladder cancer before surgery, or have high-risk features after surgery, and haven't had previous immunotherapy or chemotherapy.

Who can take part

  • You have bladder cancer that is T2, T3, or T4a and hasn't spread to lymph nodes or distant organs (for treatment before surgery).
  • Or you had bladder cancer surgery and final results showed it was T3, T4, or had spread to nearby lymph nodes (for treatment after surgery).
  • You have not had chemotherapy or immunotherapy for your bladder cancer before.
  • You do not have an active autoimmune disease that needs treatment, or you don’t take high-dose steroids or other immune-suppressing medicines.
  • You have not had a major surgery, serious injury, or a live vaccine in the past 28 days.
