Ultrasound for detecting brain issues in children

Who can take part

  • Your child needs a head CT or brain MRI as part of their normal care.
  • Your child is seen in the pediatric emergency department or pediatric intensive care unit at either Brenner Children's Hospital or Levine Children's Hospital.
  • Your child does not have an open skull fracture or a previous skull surgery that removed part of the skull.
