Liver fibrosis study with MRI for MASLD patients

Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Steatotic Liver Disease

Who can take part

  • You have suspected MASLD (fatty liver disease with possible scarring) and are scheduled for a liver biopsy within 6 months
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have not had liver cancer (HCC) or liver decompensation (serious liver failure) in the past or now
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have any metal implants, pacemakers, or other devices that would make an MRI unsafe
  • You do not have severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
