Genetic study of complex heart defects in unborn babies

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and pregnant.
  • You are carrying a single baby (not twins or more).
  • The baby has a complex heart defect that is not linked to a known genetic syndrome or infection.
  • Your doctor has recommended an amniocentesis and you have agreed to it.
  • Your pregnancy is between 20 and 28 weeks along.
  • You understand French and are able to give informed consent.
