Who can take part

  • You are 60 years or older (implied by 'older people').
  • You have had non-specific low back pain, or both low back and knee pain, for at least 3 months.
  • Your average pain in the last week was at least 5 on a 0–10 scale.
  • You have normal thinking skills (score 26 or higher on the Hong Kong Montreal Cognitive Assessment).
  • You are right-handed and can speak Cantonese.
  • You have at least 6 years of formal education and can read and write Chinese.
