Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are scheduled for breast reconstruction using a DIEP flap or a TRAM flap (a type of flap that moves skin and fat from your belly to your chest).
- Your surgery will not use a second flap from your thigh or buttock (called a stacked flap).
- Your DIEP flap will not include a lymph node transfer from your groin.
- You have not had radiation therapy to the breast area before your surgery.
