Testing maintenance olaparib versus observation after chemoradiation for p53 abnormal endometrial cancer

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with stage I, II, or III endometrial cancer that has grown into the muscle layer, and the cancer type is one of the common subtypes (like endometrioid, serous, or clear cell).
  • Your tumor must have a specific genetic makeup: abnormal p53, normal mismatch repair, and non-pathogenic POLE (your doctor will check this).
  • You have completed or are scheduled to receive a specific combination of chemotherapy and radiation, usually starting within 6–10 weeks after surgery.
  • You are generally healthy enough for daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1), weigh more than 66 pounds, and have good kidney, liver, and bone marrow function.
  • You have not had pelvic radiation before, and you have no other active cancer (except for certain early-stage or treated skin cancers).
