Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have a type of nasopharyngeal cancer called non-keratinizing carcinoma (WHO type II or III).
  • Your cancer is locally advanced (stage T any N2-3 or T4N1) and has not spread to distant organs.
  • You are in good general health (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are adequate.
  • You have not had prior radiation or chemotherapy for this cancer.
