  • You have been newly diagnosed with head and neck cancer
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have not had any prior treatment for head and neck cancer
  • You can swallow safely and do not need a feeding tube
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney problems
  • You do not have a physical or mental condition that would make exercise unsafe
