Who can take part

  • You or a family member must have had colon polyps found during a colonoscopy.
  • You cannot have active infections or serious health problems like heart, liver, or kidney disease.
  • You cannot have diabetes, gout, or a BMI under 18.5 or over 32.
  • You cannot have had any gum treatment in the past 6 months or wear braces or dentures.
  • You cannot have taken antibiotics, probiotics, or certain other medications in the past month.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
