  • You have a small lower jaw (retrognathic mandible) pushed back from the upper jaw.
  • You have a large overjet, meaning your upper front teeth stick out noticeably past the lower front teeth.
  • You do not have any major birth defects or conditions affecting your face, jaw, or skull.
