Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with at least 6 swollen and 6 tender joints, and high inflammation markers.
- You have been taking methotrexate pills (7.5–25 mg per week) for at least 12 weeks, with a stable dose for the last 4 weeks.
- You are not taking more than 10 mg of prednisone per day, and have been on a steady dose for at least 4 weeks.
- You have not had any previous treatment with an IL-6 or IL-6R inhibitor (like tocilizumab).
- You do not have active infections, recent live vaccines, certain cancers, or other serious health problems.
