Who can take part

  • You are pregnant and between 28 and 42 weeks along.
  • You are carrying only one baby.
  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You are willing to take part and give your permission.
  • You do not have anemia caused by something other than low iron.
  • You have not had heavy bleeding before delivery, a condition where the placenta grows into the womb muscle, or a baby with a major birth defect.
