Who can take part
- You are 50 years or older.
- You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
- Your A1C (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7.2% and 10.0%.
- You are currently taking 1 to 3 diabetes medications (not injected insulin) for at least 3 months.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or lower and your weight has been stable.
- You have good kidney function (eGFR of 30 or higher).
