Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 3 and 12 years old.
  • They must have a confirmed diagnosis of Alport syndrome.
  • They must have protein in their urine, with or without blood in the urine.
  • Their kidney function must be at a mild to moderate stage (stage I, II, or III chronic kidney disease).
  • They must not have any active infections, allergies, or serious health problems like heart or liver disease.
  • They or their family must agree to participate and sign a consent form.
